EMBRACING YOUR RED SEA PT. 2 "HEARING THE INNER VOICE OF GOD"

Embracing Your Red Sea

Often times in life we neglect our peaceful inner voice ushering us to make a decision, take a stance or even a leap of faith regarding a situation. We allow fear, hesitation, doubt, noise, and buzz around us to contaminate our precious gift God has placed within us. You see, being a part of God’s likeness entitles us to certain benefits or let me say genetics; like a child to his or her parents.
I remembered in 1990 when I had to embrace My Red Sea. I had tragically loss my sister at age 21 when a civil war had just ignited my mother land (Liberia). My two year old daughter had gone to her father and I was an endangered species in my own country because of my ethnicity and background. My love ones pleaded with me to escape. I procrastinated to leave my love ones behind and facing the unknown. I finally listened to my inner voice urging me to cross and” Embrace My Red Sea” in the midst of my fears, uncertainties like the Israelites that God had a purpose for my life.
I waited in neighboring countries to ensure my love ones were alive and glory be to God, they were!
To conclude: We all are confronted with Red Seas in our lives, the question is should we embrace them or stand still? We should learn to listen to God when he speaks to us. The Israelites did at the bank of the Red Sea.
Snip Bid: I woke up this morning while getting ready for work my inner voice tells me to take the local route to work which has a million traffic lights (LoL); there is always traffic on this route but I had decided to take the freeway before going to bed that night. However, I was now torn between which routes to take. Which Route did I take to work?
“The seeds of our decisions will affect and give birth to our outcomes”
